課程概述

Course Description:
Through weekly translation practices and in-class discussion, students will gain a comprehensive insight into the nature, knowledge, and skills regarding translation, both from English to Chinese and from Chinese to English. Peer review will play a significant role in this course.

課程目標

Course Objectives:
1. To familiarize students with the basic skills and knowledge of translation.
2. To help students develop adequate reading and writing strategies.
3. To make students understand the nature of working as a translator and what it takes to become one.

課程要求

Requirements:
Weekly assignment and participation and discussion in class are of utmost importance.
